Seems I'm back in the game there Assimilator1... (seti)

Opps sorry, didn't see this til today, been away gaming (RTW) in much of my spare time 😱.

And yea I noticed your output leaping up over the past week or so!, from about 2400 cpd to 4300 cpd currently, & climbing!😎
Just typical though, within a few weeks or so of me switching a core back to DPAD (2 on DPAD 2 on SETI) you go & add C2D laptop!😉, looks like I won't be ahead of you for long 😛 heh.
I need to get one of my mates crunching for me again, I hadn't realised he'd stopped back in May!, however that still won't be enough to close the gap.

It seems the new mbrd my Q6600 is running in has increased output which was an unexpected surprise 🙂, especially considering it was only running at 2.7GHz for the past week (from 3GHz) until this morning (maybe that hasn't fed through to RAC results yet?). I'm hoping the new mbrd will allow me to clock it higher than it was before btw.

Hey - nice to hear you are having some Real Life out there Mark 😉

I'm more than pleased with the new Lenovo laptop. What's even nicer is it isn't even getting warm!!

Nice! 🙂

In quick testing, my new mbrd has allowed me to o/c my quad from 3 to 3.2GHz so far 🙂.

Oh btw, I never meant to implie that all my spare time was used up playing RTW  , what I meant was my spare time outside of going out seeing people 😉

Currently testing my Q6600 @3.35 GHz 😎, I was testing at 3.4GHz but even with 1.34v vcore (OCCT loaded) it failed after 2hrs & temps were hitting 63C with a mild ambient of 23C. So until I've lapped my HSF & CPU (very bad mating atm) I'm not going to push more voltage through it.
However I don't think a 10%+ increase in speed will catch up with your doubling of output! 😉
