Seemingly Uncorrectable IRQ Conflicts on My Server

I'm having lots of trouble figuring out how to get each piece of hardware onto its own irq. BOTH of my intel pro/100 S Server adapters AND my vanta PCI video card are all on irq 9. Despite setting each pci slot to a manually assigned irq number in my a7m266's bios, they still refuse to be reassigned to a new IRQ.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!!!!!! I want a stable server, and with such conflicts, that doesn't seem likely.

P.S. Does anyone know how to enable ECC mode for system ram in the k7m266 1004A bios?

if you have win2k w/ acpi, my understanding is that it uses IRQ 9 as a "front" so to speak and divvies up the IRQ's behind the scenes.

if you're not having problems, then i wouldn't worry too much about it. if you are having some problems with your hardware go to device manager and select computer, and change the driver to "Standard PC".

i've also used "MPS *processor PC" though I'm not the one who can explain the differences.
