There is this TV commercial for Sports Illustrated magazine that flashes various pictures of athletes in happiness, sadness, triumph, etc...

Well I've been looking all over the place (and have emailed SI a few times) about the very last picture they show which is of a boy who is a baseball pitcher and he is on his knees with his arms up in the air and his teamates are swarming in to celebrate. The look on his face is something I can't describe very well, but its unmistakeable.

Has anyone else seen this or does anyone happen to know where the heck I can find this picture? I've looked all over their website with no luck. I'd pay someone for a decent scan if they know what I'm talking about. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows...ATOT knows!

Edit/Update: We now know the picture was taken of the Venezualan team after winning the 2002 Little League World Series

I am now offering $10 via Paypal to the first person who can come up with the picture from the commercial. The picture has to be decent quality and size too...no junk!

Wow, thanks man. Unfortunately this isn't the exact one that was in the commercial, but it's pretty darn close. The one I'm looking for is where all his teamates are in the picture and he has the same look on his face, but they are mobbing him. I'm going to continue to dig around.

well at least you know what year the picture youre looking for is from

Yeah, I'm hoping I can just order the old issue maybe assuming the picture is in there and wasn't just on the commercial.

Because as an athlete myself and now being a coach and a physical education teacher, there is something nostalgic about the look on his face. It's something I remember as a kid myself. I want to enlarge the picture, frame it, and have it somewhere in my home if possible.

Awesome! Thanks so much! The only concern I have is the quality of the picture. I'm going to print it out, take it by a Kinko's and get it enlarged tomorrow. If it comes out halfway decent, you definitly have your 10 bucks...I promise.

Thanks Sugar, this one is a bit crisper. The jpg's are a bit better, albeit not much. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Thanks again to you both.

Well to give you an update, I went by the local Kinko's with a disc and they said they could enlarge it, but it would look pretty grainy so I got the picture on a slightly maybe what would be a 9X13 piece of glossy paper for 2 bucks....but the quality of it is about 2 bucks...if you get my drift. Hmmm...if there was only a way to increase the size of this picture and keep as best of quality as possible. Anyone have ideas?
