I am trying to build a gaming HTPC that must be small. The are into which the case must fit is approximately 14" wide by 10" high. ATX and even Micro ATX MBs (and their associated cases) are either too large. I am then left with few other choices other than going with an ITX MB. The problem is that production/sale of most Sandy supported MITX MBs has ceased ... leaving me to go the used market. I was hoping that the community could advise as to what they would do in this situation. Here are some of the cases that I have been considering that will fit into the required space:

It seems that space-wise the MITX is the way to go but I need things like an external 3.5" optical drive, HDMI and USB 3.0. I desire to have at least some OC abilities whether I actually use it or not. The CPU will be a 2500K.

Any recommendations?

Thank you ...

2500K is 95W CPU you are aware of it being pretty toasty once you combine that with gaming video card to tiny HTPC case?

Yes, but the light gaming I will be doing will not require a lot of horsepower and hence a card that produces less heat.
