I have most of the outside lit up fairly well using a variety of light fixtures. Most work fine for what they are and where they are. Some are spots, some are floods, all are LED. Total wattage for all is under 100 and all are some form of dusk to dawn. They put out more than enough light to see and show the yard well on cameras.
I have a couple of remaining dark areas that I'd like to do some thing with, but can't find that just right Goldlilocks unit.
I have two of these, came in a two-pack package for under $40:

They work fine, but have a 'hot spot' directly below with very little dispersion. I mounted them close to 20' up and they're OK, but I don't want to have to go that high in these other two areas.
I have power at these two locations, so I can use AC, but am also open to solar if I can fine a dependable unit. I haven't had a lot of luck though with solar units lasting all night. In fact, a lot of the ones I see are only rated for 6-8 hours on time after 8+ hours of direct sunlight. That may be OK in July, but not January.
I need wide area coverage with the unit mounted at 15' or less.
Cost is key. I'm cheap, so more than $20-30 per unit won't work.
