Seeking case suggestions

I am thinking of getting a new case in a few months and I am seeking opinions on what I should get. I am planning on keeping it for a few years so I want it to be future proof. So in that case it can be a little pricey but no $1000 cases please. lol The following features are preferred:

Full tower
Black anodized inside and out
LOTS of fans/fan mounts
At least 4 hard drive slots
Extended ATX
Able to fit 2-3 12"+ video cards
8 expansion slots

I only found a couple at Newegg that are close to these specs and many sites don't have good pics of their cases. So any suggestions on cases you have seen either personally or on the web?

I have a Lian-Li PC-60FN in black. It isn't black inside but it is an excellent case. Nice HDD mounting solution, PSU mounted on the bottom of the case, two large fans move a lot of air quietly.

I've been buying Lian-Li cases for years now and I am very happy with this latest case.

Well, pretty much any Lian Li full tower will meet your criteria, except for the black interior. As much as I dig Lian though, if I was buying new right now I'd probably go with the Corsair 800D.

gotta plug the cheapo azza solano... i got one back in nov because they were silly cheap with rebate/combo... it's actually a pretty nice case for under $100 a/r... not quite full tower size, but lots of fans and actually looks better ( to me at least) in person than in pics... and they have the one with the red interior for $10 less right now... the blue lit one has black inside...

i've got a toasty oc'd q6700 and a couple of the always hot 4850's in it and it has plenty of space and stays nice and cool... you have to twiddle the pins in the 4pin connectors if you want to slow the fans down, but for the price it's a pretty good case...

i'm about to buy a couple of the solano's little brothers (helios mid tower)to stuff some old parts into...

Thanks for the link and case ideas. All of them look nice but one thing I forgot to mention was that I wanted 8 expansion slots as tri-fire/tri-SLI would require 6 slots. It would be nice to have another slot for a sound card and another either for PhysX if it takes off or a controller card etc. I have only seen 3 or 4 that have 8 slots. Some of the Lian Li's have 8 as well as the top of the line Xclios and the ABS Canyon 595.

I didn't find the Lian Li V2000 yet. I'll look for that one.

The Azza Solano is pretty nice for under $100. That red interior one just about blinds me though. lol

Lancool is nice for a $100 case. If I go the cheap route I will either get the Lancool, Azza Solano or the Coolermaster 690II. Lancool is 290mm(11.4") for video cards. I don't know if that is long enough the way things are going. lol

If I go the more expensive way it will be either the 800D, ABS Canyon, Xclio 1000/2000 so far but still looking.

I'm surprised no one recommended the Antec 1200 or the CM 692 Advanced.

Great cases, or have they been phased out?

I had that case before. You would've like the PC-K62 better. Cheaper & better made/constructed.

I was thinking about it but the Storm Sniper has a side fan and I need one for 470 SLI and it is slightly larger inside. The Sniper is supposed to cool very well. The Lancool and the CM 690 advanced 2 were my second choices. The CM 690 requires that you add your own fans and the Lancool I didn't see an option for a side fan. The Antec 1200 looked pretty good as well but was more expensive, had smaller fans and no side fan, the hard drives go in from the rear it appears and I didn't like the styling as much. And with Cooler Master it is easy to buy new side panels, different colored fans etc.

no there not annodized inside and out.

There is only 3 brands which i can think of that is completely annodized inside and out.

Lian Li.
SilverStone TJ series.
Mountain Mods <OPTION>

Expensive cases...

Then we have the uber bling Windy series which is completely annodized down to the side panels + alu tray and all.
