I'm trying to delete the 'Recent Documents' in Task Pane. Is there any way to do so? Running Windows 7 64-bit. Microsoft Works Word 9.0 installed. I've tried everything and I care not to go into the registry. All replies are appreciated. Below is a snapshot with the 'Red Arrow' denoting the task pane (Area in Question).

Well, if any can believe this. I turned on the PC this day and the task pane is clear. It is unknown to me how the 'documents' have disappeared. Can any provide an explanation? Enclosed is a snapshot.MICROSOFT WORKS 9.0.png

Solved: If one moves to the Microsoft Works Task Launcher and 'clears' the "History", all documents will be removed in Microsoft Works 'Word'. I'm surprised that not any offered this solution. Picture inserted.

IOBit ASC could probably knock that out - https://www.iobit.com/en/advancedsystemcarefree.php

They have some other helpful packages as well to bypass using built in Windows crapware like Windows Update for drive management. There's also an Uninstall tool as well.

* Absolute joke!
