Hi,

Here's what I'm proposing. I've been working on and off for my last employer who let me go a few months ago due to cut backs. So far I've accummulated quite a few hours which they have not paid me for yet. I'm also planning a major purchase of a 21" monitor which is about 1300. I'm thinking maybe I can ask my employer to buy the monitor and mark it as company expense for their tax break and in turn I don't have to declare the money because I'm actually on Unemployment right now. They are not giving me consistant hours.. I'm called in maybe once every 2 weeks.

In this scenario, who benefits more ?

Thanks in advance
