Seeing the budget ram review on Anandtech...

I was wondering how these would likely compare:

I bought them but have yet to add them to my system. I'm trying to decide if it would be worth the extra money to get something nicer

They're definately missing from the review. The VX value sticks sure looks nice.

You'd think a big site like this would have a pair lying around in somebody's personal comp.
But, yeah, I was really excited when I saw the link, since I'd just asked for one (in some random thread, it's not like I e-mailed them or anything).
But they're missing out on a few that appear to be pretty serious: the TwinMOS that ribbon13 is always raving about, those Geil sticks, and some Crucial I've had my eye on. (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDe...146-541&catalog=23&manufactory=BROWSE)

It's really kind of wimpy. I mean, they only asked five companies for samples; seems to me like they should have asked for every pair under ~$150 on Newegg. (21 options from 10 manufacturers.)
Still, it's useful.

Does anybody think there's a chance OCZ didn't bin that Value VX they sent over?

No, don't get that. For some reason, the Corsair Value PC3200 retail is CL3. The OEM is CL2.5, and it's cheaper
