I can tell when any monitor is set to 60Hz. I can see the flicker out of the corner of my eyes, but when I turn up the refresh rate I can no longer see the flickering. Your monitor is fine it is just that most people need to to have a refresh rate above 75Hz so that it does not hurt their eyes.

It just means your eyes are getting better. If your monitor has always been at 60hz, then nothing has changed with your monitor. 60hz is 60hz.

60Hz = flicker
75Hz = minor flickering, still annoying in my book
85Hz = flickering pretty much gone
100Hz+ = I can't see any flickering at all..
