Seeing JoJo live in concert

Being my first concert in a while, some things stand out.

Really diverse group of attendees, both in age and skin color.

Her mic pack went out in the middle of the concert.

Eyes see differently than cameras. Humans eyes can see through fog. Spotlights don't glare up. Human night vision is better in the dark

Expect drink cups on the ground.

I didn't bring ID because I had no intention of consuming alcohol.

First hour and twenty minutes were guest acts and "intermissions" to change the equipment.

Saxl Rose(Antonio Hancock is his real name) had a part mid-concert. Pulled in through social media. Keisha Renee was the background singer and was given a moment to sing.

My vantage point was in the back, so I could see the full stage and lighting coordination, but not an up close of her face.

The Iphone 6 I have was able to survive, with the help of a battery backup.

Also a hip-hip-hooray to this thread https://forums.anandtech.com/thread...h-metal-anymore.2178414/page-21#post-40624330
for letting me know about "musicians" ear plugs, especially @Captante

Did this REALLY need it's own thread? I mean you already mentioned it in this thread:

No one cares, honestly. It sounds like you've never been to a concert before, taking into account your description and "experience".

I didn't feel like derailing it too much between the more general question of that thread's OP and my specific experience.

Last time I went to a concert were n my high school days. One for some Chinese opera singer and Another some modern female pianist for piano class at the Kennedy Center

Then there was a high school that hosted You Yar. So no, I haven't been to a modern concert venue where the shit is loud and the sound causes mini earthquakes in the body....

they had a hit called "we got the beat"
That's the Go-Gos. I happen to really like their lead singer, Belinda Carlisle too.

This JoJo is Joanna Levesque, hailing from the northeast, where she resided in Vermont and New Hampshire.

Oh sweet baby jesus, learn to use the full name instead of "JoJo" which is common and can be confused by other people. Two totally different people.

JoJo Siwa was not the one featured. Common mistake.
Yeah, I get that now. But when you say things like:

"Eyes see differently than cameras. Humans eyes can see through fog. Spotlights don't glare up. Human night vision is better in the dark
Expect drink cups on the ground."

You sound like an uneducated 12yr old who follows some moron YouTube person.

My oh my, someone's hormones must be raging so much, he's in wise guy mode today.
Probably yours because you have to explain the human eye and "Really diverse group of attendees, both in age and skin color." Like that has absolutely anything to do with the concert.

I'm the type of guy who would listen to 86 CDs worth of Beethoven. I take my hobbies seriously....

"she's a genius so its worth risk, just like those who heard Mozart live were lucky indeed,"

Your words.

You think she is comparable to seeing Mozart. You're smoking crack, buddy. She's a shitty pop artist.

Marketing in accordance with stereotypes is common in the industry. R&B for blacks, pop for white chicks. Asians...well not relevant what they think.

Yeah bud, she did improving my ability to listen to Mozart, made new favorites out of works that weren't in my favorites, such as the Piano Concerto 17 or the Clarinet Concerto. What got demystified....is the measure-by-measure progression between the notes, and an appreciation on the subtle ways harmonies get varied during repeats.

Those who can vary the repeats are on a higher level compositionally.

18th century music was quite formulaic and bound by rules, so Mozart was composing for the pop paradigm of his day. After all, despite far deeper uses of his songwriting for voice and other solo instruments, a mere commissioned business affair like Eine Kleine Nachtmusik is his posthumous calling card.

Your ability to infer is rather suboptimal.
The point is the music INDUSTRY would be marketing along racist lines.
Asians...well not relevant what they think. <--- That does not seem to be an inference, it sounds like an opinion. It's simply not true. Ask fans of BTS, Baby Metal, Steve Aoki, Karen O, H.E.R., and more.

Anyways, I'll let you dig your own grave here. All that Mozart BS having anything to do with some pop artist. You're a few fries short of a happy meal.

LOL, yes, this whole time I thought he was talking about the YouTuber as well. I'm not sure I've even heard of this other JoJo he's talking about.
