Here is the deal. I have a Belkin f5d9010 card in my laptop that sometimes works and sometimes don't. I have uninstalled and reinstalled per Belkin support to fix the problem (more than once). Now the wireless card is labeled as Connection 5. Before the last uninstall - reinstall it was connection 4. The only other network adapter is the built in NIC card.

So my question is this. How do I see connection 1 - 4 and delete them, I think they may be part of the problems I am having. Or are they gone and I can rename the new connection as wireless network?

This is on a Compaq laptop running XP Pro service pack 3

thanks

Bill

This number means nothing, every time you re-install/install it advances.

However numerically they are irrelevant, it is like calling Jack, Jill, and Ann, it is not real numbers, there is No other entries to delete.

Otherwise for less than $20 you can get a better card, http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16833315047
