internet explorer?

probably the javascript is f'ed up and IE won't fix it...I had the same prob, so I just switched to firefox

did I say it was not the javascript opening a new window...

did I not clarify that I had the problem, and could not fix it so I offered a solution?

Firefox, while not the ultimate solution, is a solution non-the-less. Either way, I'd imagine it's probably a pop-up blocker stopping the new thread window.
 
I have the same problem on my desktop. Can't make new topic, can't edit, can't send PM's. Everything works fine on my laptop, though.
