See if you qualify for Cingular/Verizon bill discount!

Cingular Link

Click on that link, and under the Employee Benefits section, enter your Work or School EMail address. You'll have an email sent to you with discounts/benefits associated with that business/school. This may or may not renew your Cingular contract for 2 years, so you can call and double check on that.

Verizon Link

Do the same thing if you're interested in Verizon. Click on the link, enter email address, and a list of benefits/discounts will be sent to your email address.

I thought this was a discount on their service rates 🙁 Its just a $25 off for college students on a new phone purchase 🙁

What you get is dependent on where you go to school, or work.

For instance, I received 14% off my bill. Everyone's going to receive a different offer in the email.

kewl got in
i guess whenever they see your email address with a .gov on it they just give the discount without really checking

thanks op!

verizon: no email in the inbox, and instead, i just get redirectred to a "business" login form
cingular: email!

(i've heard we have discounts with both, although, i have a company phone with the latter)

Correct. I work for one of the big chemical companies and get 19% off mine.

Can I just call up Cingular, tell them my e-mail address and get the 15% off like the website says?

My contract just ended too so I'm currently just going month to month with them...hopefully they won't force me into signing a new contract...

There should be a link provided in the email to activate your benefits.

I just signed up and got 15% off my bill. I am actually a contractor for the company, but since I have an e-mail address, it went through.

is this the deal that restarts your contract in order to be eligible?

as in, if you're 1.5 years into your 2 year contract, you find yourself suddenly with another 2 years to go, just cause you wanted that 15% off?

Can't say for sure- Some people say it does, some say it doesn't. Your best bet would be to give them a call just to make sure. Still, if you're happy with your service and plan to stick with them anyways, I think it'd be worth it.
