Sold my Macbook and gave my son my PC which we now share. This is the base system:

P4PSE with 1gb, 3.2ghz, ATI x850xt.

On his 'system', he boots using a Maxtor 200gb IDE drive, using a logitech LX duo and into the ATI card using secondary display onto a 19" Samsung CRT. To boot into games, he has an external DVD drive.

On my 'system', I boot into a 320gb Seagate SATA drive, using a Logitech MX duo onto a Primary display Dell 2405.

In Device manager, I've disabled the other person's drives, mouse and keyboard, and disabled their display in CC.

We boot into our "systems" through the bios. We obviously can't use the system at the same time. Believe it or not, we're actually in different rooms, the cables run through the wall (three to be exact, monitor cable, headphone, and a hub for m/k and external DVD). He has a very quiet room now.

Anyone foresee potential problems? Seems to be working so far. Just don't want anything to, well, blow up.
