I am looking at building a mini-itx board for my track car for a custom gauge cluster and datalogging. Now I am curious about also using it for recording laps with it rather than a big mounted camera. And I mean the possibility of using 3-4 cameras I can put about anywhere.
My first issue is how much computer power I need to do that, but even before that I need software to judge what is needed.
So.. any recommendations to record multiple simultaneous cams? I was thinking booting XP off a USB stick and recording to an SSD. Not sure on recording raw or encoding yet.
