security settings in IE ?

Would anyone know why the security levels for the different zones in IE keep resetting themselves
to custom level every time I launch IE,at the moment i have to go in to the security tab and apply the
default level for every session ??

hi, yes i have had tiny personal firewall installed for a couple of weeks but this just started happening
yesterday could it be that my firewall is causing this problem

I'm not sure about other firewalls, but with Zone Alarm the security settings are controlled from within the program itself. To answer your question, yes, that could be what is changing your settings. As far as it being a problem, IMO I wouldn't worry about it as long as it is set to at least a medium setting.
