Wow, very interesting.

This also ties in with a post in a thread about the new ATI 7970 video cards, about someone's new card running at a high temp right after they got it.

Some people suggested a virus might be causing it, perhaps it's this botnet, and it's mining bitcoins in the background.

Too bad it's illegal, but a white hat should be deploying an update that removes the client from the infected machines.
