So a financial website I use now requires 3 security questions.
One of the questions was "What was your childhood nickname"?
So I enter it.

It tells me "Security question answers must be at least 4 letters/numbers".

WTF? What if my nickname was less than 4 letters?

I always stick a pin number in front of the answers, which makes it much harder for someone to hack into your accounts based on the knowledge they have about you.

Ex:
Q: What was your childhood nickname?
A: 1111 flash

I got tired of questions that I had no answer for, like what was your first pet (we didn't have pets). So I made up a password-like answer and use that as the answer to every security question on every site. Even if someone knew me well enough to know the "right" answer, it won't ever be the word I entered.

It's a little entertaining at times when I have to call a company and they want me to answer one of the security questions.

"Sir, before we proceed, we need to verify your identity using a security question. What was your childhood best friend's name?"

"marmonuck55g7290$."

".....ooooookay, well, let's proceed..."
