Security IP Camera Advice

I want to setup 3~4 cameras at my aunt's store so that she can monitor what's going on. Both locally and over the internet. I haven't done this before but I am going to give it a shot. Computers and network infrastructure are there. I need cameras and other parts that are required to be used with the cameras.

Any recommendation on cameras? 2 outdoor cameras + 2 indoor cameras would be ideal.

Thank you!

Any suggestion for a decent recording software for IP camera?
I'm using Panasonic BL-C131A wireless IP camera.
It's very good except for the crappy recording software that can only support 1 camera. They asked for $400 to upgrade to professional version that can support up to 64 cam. But I need only 2.

I've heard about blueirissoftware.com but never try it.

I would just buy a package that already has the cameras, DVR, and everything you need if you are doing a small job install.

Has that one for $499 and it is completely stand alone.
No software to buy or install and it has its own web server built in so it can stream the video to any browser. If you buy cameras, capture cards, software you are getting close to that price and then the pc you use for it has to be on 24/7 and you still have to do the upkeep on it with drivers, OS patches, etc. With a standalone unit you can set it up on a shelf and forget about it. If it breaks it has a 3 year warranty and you can just swap it out.

I tried few of the sub $100 IP cameras.

The best result were achieved with this Model.

d-link also has free software to view/manage/record several cameras at once.

the interface is meh, but it works, and the cameras are decent, we have a few at school being used while more cameras are ordered. not sure about viewing them over the internet...maybe you can get away with port forwarding or something.
