Security in Internet Browsers

If you go to your internet browsers (IE, Firefox...) security settings, you would see that by default SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 is checked but TLS 1.0 is not. My question is: Should one leave TLS 1.0 unchecked or not? Are there any security problems which caused TLS to be unchecked by default?

Thanks

IIRC TLS is the replacement for SSL so there's no security risk in leaving it enabled, but a while back I did hit a few sites that wouldn't work with it enabled. There was something funky with the way they had their SSL sh!t setup, it wouldn't handshake properly with TLS enabled.
