I am trying to replace the security locks in our office with an ip solution. We have installed over the year a bunch of different lock from multiple providers over the years and i need to replace them with on solution that can scale easily and that i can manage from one central point. What are you suggestions?

Oh i am also buying a new server rack. I was going to pick up any old one but since i am writing this thread i thought you guys might know of some good ones. I am looking for a full sanding one or one about 6ft tall. You probably have guessed I am not a pro.

Isonas looks interesting. No personal experience with itit though so don't know if it is any good.

I would think that IP based locks would be too exposed, unless you are running an internal network that is walled off from everything else?

Ideally it is on its own network but properly configured router can support secure vlan as well.
