Security Camera Suggestions?

Since I have finished my basement, we spend quite a bit of leisure time there (big screen TV, XBOX 360, PC). It is always a pain in the butt wondering when someone is showing up at the front door.

I am looking for an inexpensive surveillance or security camera that I can route either to my PC downstairs or even to another small monitor. Black/white is fine too. Wireless transmission is preferred to avoid running the cables.

Any product suggestions are greatly appreciated, and anything good/bad I should know?
