Securing wireless network w/ReplayTV...

Anyone have advice on how to do this? I used to have my setup (Dlink 713P + Dell TrueMobile 1150 card) secured as best I could (128-bit WEP + MAC Address Control), but I could never get my ReplayTV (5040) working with this setup. The 5040 is going through a Linksys WEP-11 card; anyone know specifically what I'm going to have to do to keep speeds decent, but make sure that my network isn't wide open?

is that a wet-11?
are you trying to archive shows from your replay?
i have a replay and wireless is going to take a long time if you have encryption turned on.
if you don't want to use the encryption because it degrades the signal
you really don't have many choices other than turning off ssid broadcasts and mac address filtering.
turning those two off will make your wireless connection more secure, but will not encrypt any of the data.
