How can i get it so it doesnt stay on Linksys as the name and make it so its secure and requires a password to use. I have a Linksys Wireless-B Broadband Router Model BEFW11S4.

Thanks

Did you read the "User Guide" that came with the router?
(Chapter 4: Configuring the Router)

Just to help get you started.

If this is the first time you will log into the router,
launch your web browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address line.
Leave the 'User Name' blank and type admin in for the password.

Change the 'SSID' from the default "linksys" to whatever you wish.
You also will want to change the default password.

Good luck.
