I have a 1 GB flash drive that supports creating a secure and hidden partition on the drive, password protected. The utility that does this is available at their website (www.pexagontech.com) and appears to only work on their drives. I installed this and wonder why I'd want to do anything other than use the entire drive for the hidden partition. The reason is that if you run the exe that gets you access to the hidden partition, you evidently can't see the "unhidden" partition! You see one or the other. That seems nuts. I'm not intending to let other people use this, so why would I want two partitions? Does some of this software allow the hidden partition to see the unhidden one? I'd think that the most sensible approach.

I think that your problem is device specific. I have a Corsair Flash Voyager (1gb), and when the hidden partition is activated (password is entered), both drives are visible and usable.

I figure your take is correct. In any case, I just sent an email to their support staff asking if I'm missing something or it's just a limitation of the software.
