Secure Digital Memory/Multimedia Card?

Hi all,

I am looking at buying a digital camera. It says it can use "secure digital memory" or "multimedia card memory".

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these two types of memory?

Doesn't SD and MMC change photographs and mp3's a little with their cryptographic security for copywrite protection? I heard it watermarks stuff if you want it to or not. Is this true?

never heard that. but i do know MMC is the older brother od SD and SD was created with an extra pin to secure the data in case of corruption or what not.
