Secure Digital card at 60x questions..

Hi,

i am going to buy Canon SD400/ Ixus 50 (5.0MP version)
and also i am going to need memory card to go with it.
I need around 512mb

Is the Ultra II memory card fast enough? or does it matter for camera at all.?
I believe Ultra II is = 60x write/66x read.(sandisk)


I may also use this SD card with my PDA, cellphone or other devices in the future.
Any brands for recommendation? at any speed? my target price is around $45US...

I use a SanDisk Utra II for my Digital Rebel and I've had no problems with it keeping up taking pictures of my daughter on stage dancing. I'll take maybe 30 or more pictrues in about a 2 minute span of time. It has never studdered. Here's link to the write speed of your camera.
