Secret 'E-Bomb' Appears Ready for Battlefield Test

U.S. forces may use a new "e-bomb" during the expected invasion of Iraq as part of a 21st century blitzkrieg designed to render Saddam Hussein's forces blind, deaf, dumb and incapable of retaliation.

The highly classified bomb creates a brief pulse of microwaves powerful enough to fry computers, blind radar, silence radios, trigger crippling power outages and disable the electronic ignitions in vehicles and aircraft.

if the U.S. military wants to mess with Iraqi computers, just have commandos sneak in and load M$ software onto their systems

This will be good for taking out their supercomputers.

😕 I don't see any supercomputers😕

It was mainly a joke.

"Applications for this system are potentially frightening," the intelligence source said. "One expert I spoke with estimated that an integrated bundle of 12-15 PlayStations could provide enough computer power to control an Iraqi unmanned aerial vehicle, or UAV -- a pilotless aircraft."

The reason that Hussein is allegedly importing PS2s instead of supercomputers is because PS2s, which are considered videogame systems, are not included in the United Nations sanctions clause. And the present United Nations sanctions prohibit the sale and or transfer of nearly all kinds of technology and computer hardware to Iraq.
