secondary SATA drive: PC won't boot (no signal)

Hi to all, i'm new of this forum.

In my specs I have 2 HDD: 1 Crucial SSD 120gb with windows and 1 HDD SATA magnetic.

One week ago my old SATA I 250Gb Drive start to freeze for few sec while i play games or rarely while i transfert files.
Crystal Disk info show me this:
OLD DRIVE INFO

at ID 07 - seek error - you can see that value that start to grow up boot after boot. Someone told me that the drive start to end his life because of a mechanic problem.
So...i buy a new one - or better a regenerated one -.

I plug to my PC my "new" WD green 320Gb SATA II and...the comuputer won't start...
black screen, no motherboard logo, no bios, nothing.
If I unplug the WD, computer start normally.
After some tries the computer starts and I can use it...I just let windows format the new hard drive (1 hour of slow format I don't know if it's normal).
Then again I shutdown the PC...and........BOOM...my pc won't start again... I try to plug and unplug and after some time it boot...

Until yesterday noon to now I boot the PC 5 times and all that time start with no problem.

I don't know what to do with this drive...if it's faulty or not...here is the crystal disk info:

What do u advice to me? RMA the drive? or keep it?

while talking of this problem on another forum. I remember that before install the new HDD i use some compressed air over the ram and cpu to clean it from dust.
I know that the compressed air is damp and leave a ring if used too near an object.
Maybe can this cause a temporary fault over ram?

Highly doubt that compressed air caused any damage.

As for the HD, I guess you mean, you bought a refurbished HD, and your computer won't see it on boot, or locks up.
That is usually caused by BIOS issues, or BIOS settings that are incorrect for the HD.
However, that would only be the case if the computer is really old.
You don't mention what it is, so, it is a bit difficult to say for sure.

If this is a newish motherboard, made within the last 5 years, there shouldn't be a issue, and it looks like the HD you got is the problem.
SMART doesn't always detect issues like this.
 
I have an i3 bought in the 2013
I don't know what to think cause now the computer boot correctly every time I really don't know
I can't understand why when I mount it first time doesn't work and after some power on off and bios setting changes with no clue the computer works well...i don't want that maybe in a month or 2 this hdd leaves me 🙁

I am assuming you bought this disk to change your older one. Since it's giving you problems and not been recognized by your system I can only suggest that you return it.
 
You want to keep a good drive, dont run benchmarks ...... just play the game and enjoy it with all setting on ultra high .. all settings enableld, I played UT3 TMN NBA2k then COD new one... Crysis 3 and FEAR 3. I played each game and get 60fps vsync on 1ms pownz Not a single hickup in a game. or anything any anomolies.... Fill your sig please. Is your drive under warranty ?
