I recenlty upgraded from 32 bit vista to 64 bit and I noticed that my PC is a bit slower. along with that programs like TAT and driver cleaner 1.5 will not work correctly. TAT boots then shuts down but is stil running in processes. I THINK the problem maybe that I delted the second partion in the HD when isntalling vista. Im not sure how big it is or if all hardrives secondarys are the same but how can I fix this?

so whats that smaller partion for? If not the partion then what would cause the upgrade from 32 to 64 to be slower on boot up and shtdown and the programs that wont run suchs as TAT?

People partition a HD for any number of reasons. Your issues are probably driver related by making the move from 32 to 64-bit.

Welcome to Windows, 64-bit style. Why did you think most people aren't upgrading to 64-bit yet?

The reasons for a second partition revolve around data security and seek speed. There are no time penalties that I know of from having multiple partitions. I agree with others -- look for a driver issue.
