laptop: ASUS ROG Zephyrus M GM501GS-XS74
monitor: Acer ET241Y 23.8" Full HD 60Hz VGA HDMI LED Monitor

On 3D applications; game is set to GeForce graphics, not Intel.

I'm getting input lag on the 2nd Acer monitor. I know the laptop monitor is like 144hz or something.
Acer is on HDMI connection. There is a slight delay and glitch with games on the 2nd monitor.
I can't understand why, the monitor is 4ms and 60hz. It should be flawless.
To explain this, the Acer monitor jitters on frames, and is slow on updating instant gameplay, competitively.

Can the GTX1070 not push two screens properly?
I know the Acer monitor can't be the issue because it has zero input lag on my other laptop and does not glitch at all.

Any inquiries appreciated. Thank you!

The only thing that I can suggest is, maybe it's using some sort of "Optimus"-type setup, where it has to use software (drivers) to copy the framebuffer from the onboard Intel iGPU to the dGPU, or vice-versa, every frame, causing a lag.

I think the computer just couldn't stand the Hz difference and it was a laptop.

I just disabled the the onscreen monitor (LAPTOP) and kept the Acer 22" monitor going.
144hz is still better than 60hz, but a larger monitor was nicer for a while.
However, I couldn't stand gaming laptops because of latency with the OS.

I went back to a gaming desktop and built this;
i5-9400F
mobo-gaming Z370
GTX 1660
Samsung 970 EVO NVME
16GB RAM
Seasonic 650W Gold

Latency on OS is merely non-existent and monitor is Asus 24" 1080p 144Hz 1ms
Controller board on Asus monitor (new monitor) is better than Acer one, for sure.

Desktop build is way faster and smoother than the Asus laptop in terms of OS snappiness and 3D maximum sustained frames.
