If this is a IDE drive, you could hack the cable... Other than that, if the HD doesn't have a jumper for this, then most likely, the answer is no, unless you find a motherboard that supports what you want.
You could try something like this http://www.hddled.com/. I'm not recommending this particular one as it has been a while since I looked at any of these.
