Second hand X800XT PE

I found a good deal for a second hand AGP X800XT PE. I don't intend to go PCI-E for a while, I will wait for the dual cores to get mainstream, and I think it will take a year or so.
The question is, do you think it will be stupid to jump to X800XT, when it will be harder to sell a year later, when most high-end users will already have PCI-E motherboards?
Current card is 9500@9700 pro by the way. I expect it will be a 2-3x jump in performance.

no it is not stupid to jump to this card...u wont really require to change ur card even next year so it should last u a while....there would still ppl using AGP cards even at the end of next year.

Buy the X800XT PE. Notice the humongous jump in performance.
