Hey guys, here is my most recent run. As you can see, I improved my results from my last run slightly. I also took a lot of video of the setup and of how I do my sessions. This is to give you an idea of what it is like to benchmark on dry ice.

The Video(Watch In HD):

The Results:

32m SuperPi Personal Best - 13m 15.140s
13.15m32m.PNG

This was my 32m run. I cut 15 seconds on my previous result from my last dry ice run.

1m SuperPi Personal Best - 12.797s
12.797s1m.PNG

For my 1m run I also cut off time from my previous run. Although it was only around 50ms, it took a lot of work just to achieve a faster time.

6 Core Overclock - 5.439GHz - Validation

Was not stable enough to get a screenie. I tried but no luck.

Single Core Overclock - 5.568GHz - Not Valid

I could not get a screenshot or a valid for this one. It was giving me trouble. Next time however, I will nail this number down and surpass it with a new pot to play with.

Again, great runs. Love seeing stuff like this, thanks again for sharing with AT.

It looks like your using the 890FX-UD5, i have the same board, whats your experience with its clocking compared to other 8XX series boards?

Cool or cold see your Super Pi got better as you said it would.
Do Amd cpu come with the fpu 87 instuction set
Dice seems easy except for price of LN2 pot
The good pots realy look and work nice.

What potsare you using?
And have you ever tried liquid nitrogen?

Gonna be using pots from ln2cooling.com for my next run

Nitrogen, only once when I went to the AMD campus in Texas.

The cost in my city is through the roof for LN2 ($100 per 5L), as one company has a monopoly. When I go out east for school I expect to do heavy LN2 benching.

I haven't tried any of the other 8XX series boards. But what I do know is that the UD7 rev 2.0 cannot clock ram to 2000MHz. THe rev 2.1 however broke that barrier.

Thanks man

It did indeed get better.
DICE is pretty damn easy.
Yeah I can't wait to get my hands on the ones that are being shipped to me as we speak
