Second DIMM of RAM causing BSOD

I've got a Chaintech ZNF3-250 Zenith motherboard with an Athlon 64 3200+ installed and two 512 MB DIMMs of Corsair XMS DDR3200 RAM. It took me a while to install windows because I kept getting a Blue Screen of Death after installing the RAID drivers.

However, when I took out one of the DIMMs, the Blue Screen of Death stopped and installation went fine. Now, if I put back that 2nd DIMM in either the 2nd or 3rd DIMM slot on the motherboard, the system become unstable. It sounds like the RAM may be bad or something, but I'm not really sure since the other DIMM seems to be fine.

Any ideas on what could be causing this and what I can do to test and find out for sure so I can proceed properly?

You are not alone.

This is most likely not a RAM issue but an issue with your motherboard.

A whole big long thread of people complaining (me included) about this problem can be found here:
http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?t=326457&page=1&pp=15

One "solution" (and solution is in quotes because it doesn't actually fix the problem, just works around it) is to reduce the speed of the memory to 166 instead of 200 in the BIOS. Please add your case to this thread so we can maybe get Chaintech to fix this issue!

Son of a...

Yeah I'll add my name to the forum... that's ridiculous. Someone on that forum has the EXACT same motherboard and RAM as me and gets the same problem, so at least I know the RAM isn't bad.

What voltage is it set to? Try at least 2.6V at the very minimum, I'd do 2.7, and in fact I do, but not on the board that you have. Same memory, though, 3200C2 to be particular.
