SECC vs SGCC vs Steel vs Aluminum

I'm looking to get a new case and I was wondering if the zinc-coated steel (SECC/SGCC as I have found) is anywhere near as light as aluminum. I've been trying to find the weight specs of various SECC/SGCC and Alu cases, and it seems that the Coolermaster Centurion line is about as heavy as a Lian-Li PC-60. But the Centurions only have aluminum front bezels - the rest of the case is SECC or SGCC...

So would it be worthwhile to pay more for an all aluminum construction?

steel is heavier the aluminum. if the cases are the same size, the steel would be heavier by a few pounds. if the steel case is the same weight as the aluminum case, then either the steel case is smaller, or the metal used is soooo thin, it'd just fall apart.

i dont have an aluminum case. why? because aluminum is just tooo soft in my opinion. and the only benefit from using aluminum would be the weight, and easier to have a brushed metal look (aluminum is "shinier").

instead of paying for aluminum, i used a similar price, and got a better case.
