if your only going to do 4 teams, you may as well just stick with two.

any playoff should be at least 8 teams, better yet 16.

That's pushing it for college football. Hell, even the NFL is only 12. Adding another...4 games onto a 12 game season is a little much, I would think.

4/8 would be reasonable.

Standing in the way, of course, are the obstructionists ? the Big Ten, Pac-10 and their corporate partner, the Rose Bowl.

Pac-10 commissioner Tom Hansen has gone so far as to say he will pull his league out of the BCS if a Plus One is adopted.

It's such a laughable claim that the other leagues should go ahead and dare him.

They should definitely do it without the losers from the Pac, Big and Rose. Eventually they'll cave in from the pressure.

katy high school played 16 games this year to win the state title in texas. don't tell me players with better conditioning and nutrition can't do it.

edit: and of course we could just get rid of that crappy 12th game that every league but the pac 10 turned into a 1AA home game.
