I'm always so divided on this. I hate seeing animals in a smaller capitivty like this than they are use to. But, I admit I love these shows.

SeaWorld San Antonio Reopens Shamu Show One Year After Tragedy

The killer whale show "Dine with Shamu" is slated to start up again at the San Antonio SeaWorld one year after a trainer was killed in a live performance in Orlando, Fla.

The idea behind the popular show is allowing guests to dine while watching trainers work with whales.

The show was suspended at all SeaWorld theme parks across the U.S. last February when Orlando trainer Dawn Brancheau was grabbed by a six-ton male orca named Tilikum and drowned.

Guests were still in the viewing area during the show.

SeaWorld San Antonio will restart the show on February 26, reports the Orlando Sentinel, followed by the company's two other U.S. marine parks, SeaWorld Orlando and SeaWorld San Diego sometime in the spring.

A company spokesman says Tilikum will not be used in the show, at least initially, reports ABC News.

Not really sure how different the "Dine with Shamu" show is over the other shows...but I was at the Orlando park 3 months ago and they were doing the normal ones then.

*shrug*

They never really stopped shamu shows there...granted, they sure as hell don't get in the water with the dam thing anymore...but not much has changed other than that.
