I feel it is important to reiterate my feelings.

Went out tonight and nothing was good. I went to a place that I hoped would be full of a younger crowd and it was full of nothing but old ugly people (In Portland it would be young people). I drove around and had almost no fun doing that. (Speed limits are low, cops are numerous, car is slow) There was nothing for me to do and still isn't. I am not 21 yet and so I cannot go to any of the "fun" places, and even then I will never drink alcohol anyways. So, I find this all displeasing.

You live in Seattle with a large student population and you hate it. How about making some friends you pathetic loser? If you can't find something fun to do or meet people in Seattle, game over for you.

I can't even begin to describe the fail on display here.

I KNEW it!!!! 8 years in the Seattle area thinking it was great and all along I was WRONG!!! DEAD WRONG!!!! Now I know that this is, in fact, the crappiest place to be in the whole freaking world!

Thanks TridenT... I feel much better now for having the wool pulled off my eyes. Time for waffles.

I'm glad I've lifted the veil off of someone.

You should be happy that you live in such a lame city. Imagine how miserable you'd be if you lived in a place where nightlife is king, and still failed to find success.

Unfortunately it's the same deal in my city. The speed limit (even on the avenues) is 25 in a lot of places, and photo-enforced. So even when I'm walking, I get blinded by all the cars getting flashed by the damn traffic cameras. Not even kidding, those flashes are powerful.

And despite the fact that they must be making a ton of bank from all the photo traffic tickets, the streets around here are still the worst I've ever seen.

From what I understand they're all just red light cameras in Seattle. (Go through a red light, get flashed)

Can't imagine.

Also can't imagine me going to any of these places anyway since they're all drinking avenues where one also needs to be 21.

I doubt Trident could even get some blue waffle, much less something healthier.

So...what exactly are you looking to do? Seattle is not really a boring city unless you are a boring person....

Well, since you're too lazy to get a job and pay for rent, you're moving back to your parent's basement. Problem solved. And further proof of how much of a pathetic loser you are...

Swing, Alt Blues, and Fusion dancing in particular.

While there is a larger swing scene, it has a low retention rate. What does that mean? It means that people who come by are usually people who are going for the first time. These people either go once in a while or go a few times in a row but end up spacing it out/quitting every few months. What's the problem with that? Well, they end up sucking at dancing. (Not enjoyable)

Now, there are those who are actually stick around but that's because it's basically their life. Those people are good to dance with at times(Varies dancer to dancer), but there is a huge smugness among them. Very cliquey.

Alt blues and fusion dances are basically non existent. There is a new one they've started up that is fusion, but barely anyone attends because it doesn't have enough publicity. Most people who go suck anyway. It needs better DJs as well. Also, it is only twice a month. I'd like to go out to two GOOD social dances every week at minimum.

I wouldn't mind venturing to see what the club scene is like but almost all venues are 21+.

I also wouldn't mind doing some CASUAL Ultimate games but those are basically non-existent. The idea being it's more about the social aspect of the community than just the actual game itself. This leads to a lot of cool people going who are new and instead of just tons of pro players who are godless killing machines on the field.
