Yes we got lucky with the weather, it was absolutely gorgeous that week. The only rain was the first Sunday we were there, and that day we went to North Cascades. As soon as we crossed east of the Cascades, it was beautiful, and when we came back over, it was crappy again. If only Seattle was like that all the time, I'd move there!
I didn't get to eat all the many places in Seattle proper since we did so much travelling, but I can tell you that the Metropolitan Grill has awesome steaks (about on par with Ruth Chris). However, they are quite expensive (again about on par with Ruth Chris). Oh and by the way,
Hill House Bed and Breakfast is fantastic.
Targaryen, I would at least check out Mt. Rainier if you have the time. Of course Pike Place Market and the Space Needle are the real touristy things to do.
