Probably.
Or at the very least are looking for ways to blame the opposing party, and maybe tie in the economy somehow,.

In any case, I am sad this happened. It always strikes me as odd that when a teen has issues he blames other students first and decides THEY need to die.

Problem is, legit bullying (if this is the reason why it happened) isn't easy for a kid to deal with. Even if you report them to a teacher, etc...They can just harass you outside of school. Then you go to police.. Then other people in school who are friends with the bullies just harass you.... It pretty much never stops.

A lot of kids just want the ultimate revenge and are too hurt to keep going through life that way. Sad on all ends.

Bullying has been occurring for decades, yet years ago people resorted to using fists rather than guns. This was the case where I went school in the mid 70's even though guns were normally readily available as many students kept shotguns and/or rifles in their cars in the parking lot.

Just when ammo was starting to get more available too... :(

Yea, that's the takeaway from this tragedy. How easy or difficult it is to buy ammo. Forget the lives needlessly cut short. You need your fucking bullets, dammit!

WTF is wrong with you?

I'm sure the super-lieral government in Olympia won't let this tragedy to unexploited...

Washington is only slightly less liberal than California...and Seattle is just about as bad as San Francisco.

So what about lives saved by good guys producing a firearm, usually not even having to discharge? What about those lives that aren't cut short because of bad people? They shouldn't worry about ammo supply? Any time emotions enter a discussion, rationale just goes out the window :\

Yeah because gun nutters like you aren't exploiting the tragedy already. Take a look in the mirror sometime;)

The I-594 (more background checks, no gun show exemptions) initiative is much more likely to be passed though. No exploitation needed.

You're really a fucking moron...do you realize that?

I'm far from being a "gun nutter." I do not even own any firearms of any kind...AND <gasp> I'm a life-long registered Democrat. (but I AM NOT very liberal, in spite of being a (D).)

I DO support the Second Amendment...but also support responsible gun laws...the ones already on the books just need to be enforced...not just ignored.

Even though it would not have prevented this...or prevent much crime, at all.

It'll just make people a felon for saying "want to shoot a round from my gun" while at the range.

Dont you dare lump the rest of WA in with King County! King County is as liberal as CA. The rest of the state...not even close....especially Eastern WA.

Still sad day. The reports ive read make it sound like a targeted shooting though. Broke up with girl and went in and shot the girl, her new bf, his cousin, and one of her friends. Kid had some issues thats for sure.

Since this is P&N...be fun to see how the pro I-594 people spin this tragedy into a political bloody shirt waving to try to help their agendas.

The kids girlfriend broke up with him, so he goes on a rampage. Makes perfect sense. :\

Oh my bad, I guess I should have looked at your previous posts, my bad for not knowing what you stand for, I guess I should have known that when you use common gun nutter language that you really aren't a gun nutter.

I guess not being able to read minds makes me a moron.

Lol! Dumbass!
