SeaTools reports 70C

Just starting running seatools on a drive I think is bad based on initial testing in windows, and first thing that pops up is a warning that the drive reported hitting 70C before. This is a drive in a laptop so cooling conditions not real flexible, am I looking at problems over than drive going bad and possibly giving other bad readings?

When I first got it, noticed the HD was staying pegged at 100%. For some reason the windows update module got stuck in running.

Most likely because when you first got it the manufacturer installed 101 different things on there and bloated and ruined the installation. I always clean install OEM OS loads.

Get an SSD. Better battery life, better temps, and of course a huge speed improvement. If that's out of the question, what has been mentioned is correct. Airflow is king. Even in a laptop, a 5400 RPM 2.5" drive should not be getting that hot unless it is dying (reading the same dying sector over and over) or has bad airflow. If you haven't run chkdsk yet, now would be a good time to do so, in addition to the Seatools long check.
