The Seasonic X900 was announced in early April. Anyone know when it supposed to be available at e-tailers? I haven't been able to locate it yet.

careful, running a couple pc's with 1000w power supplies could possibly get your house raided by leo's looking for pot plants... seriously. imho i think we need to protest any power supply above 700w and make the manufacturers design more efficient computer parts. do you know how much power 900w is? that could drive a subwoofer twice as loud as it needs to be to blow your eardrums out. i guess my only salvation is the fact that they cannot make power supplies larger then 1400, at least in the US. that, and the fact that 900w supplies might be nice to run an integrated amplifier on the pc but other then that.... i dont know its just plain a lot of power for surfing the internet 😉

as usual a little knowledge misplaced can lead to false assumptions...
A power supply only uses what it needs no more and no less.
Just because somebody owns a 1k power supply does not mean that 1k power supply uses 1k.......it only uses what is need.
