Seasonic X760 or X660?

The X760 have a $20 premium over the X660. Is it worth it to go for the 760? I think the X660 is a bit of an overkill already given that my setup will be no where close to utilizing 600W. Also, I only have a single GPU setup.
 
650W is more than enough for any single GPU. But I would not consider an X-660 or X-650 very good value when XFX 650W is only $45 AR. Is modularity and 80+gold worth over twice the price for you?

I have both the 650X and the 660X and both are great.

lehtv is right, you can easily purchase power supplies for less but you cannot purchase anything better in this wattage range than either of these supplies in terms of quality build, high quality DC current, lack of ripple, etc. It all depends on what is important to you.
 
FWIW in terms on power quality there is very little difference between the Seasonic-built XFX 650W and the X-650/660. The XFX is similarly underrated and has 3% voltage regulation and very low ripple. The differences are efficiency, hybrid fan, and modularity.

Twice the price? No. For me, modularity is worth a small premium in price...but the extra efficiency is not...at least not at double the price. The savings in electrical costs won't likely ever pay the difference in price over the life of the power supply.

The XFX power supplies are extremely good. They're also Seasonic units...just badged and cased differently.
