This PSU is 80Plus Gold, very high quality and does not spin up the fan at low output so it is very quiet. It is also 100% modular, not partially modular with a few fixed cables like most modular PSUs.

Grab 'em while they're hot! SeaSonic is probably closing them out because they were updated as the X760 model (basically same thing, cheaper to make).

Currently using my x650 without issue. great PSU's. I do not think you can find a better psu at this price

Hmm, had to put my spare corsair 600 into service when the antec crapped out, may need to pick this is so I can put the corsair back into spare service. Have a bfg 800 in the main rig, but don't think it's a fully modular one with as many gpu connections, so may even drop that down to the secondary and use this one there.

What's the normal retail sale price on something like this? It sounds like a deal to me, but I just want to objectively verify that.

Camelegg says historically it has been as expensive as $200, and as cheap as $140. Average price seems to be $160-180.
