Newegg offering a special Halloween deal (good throughout 10/31) on SeaSonic SS-660XP2 660W 80 Plus Platinum power supplies.

Price is $100 after using promo code 102972HR37 for $45 discount. Rebate card for $20 gives a final price of $80. Make sure to select the correct PSU model, only the 660W model has the discount code.

Grabbed one. Saw this on Slickdeals last night but dragged my feet. Glad they extended the 660 sale. Should be more than enough power for what I'm doing.

Saw some reviews that said the cables are kind of short. Got me worried a little since using an Antec 280 with the PS on the bottom and drives on the other side.

I'm very tempted, but thanks for the warning... I am using a P280 also, and just don't want to take the chance on cables being too short.

Great deal on one of the best fanned PSUs seasonic makes. Now put out some deals on fanless PSUs newegg!

BTW I don't have this PSU, but I do have 280 and I'm sure the cables will be long enough for 280. 280 is not some behemoth, it's really a midsize case and hard drives aren't that far away from the PSU.

Excellent PSU, mine is powering a rig that takes ~600W (measured via kill-a-watt) and you still can't hear it. This thing delivers!
