SeaSonic S12s

Can anyone with an S12 tell me how quiet the fan is on the PSU? I'd like to put a near silent PSU in one of the new Antec P180s so I could leave the computer on during night... as it stands now my PC too loud.

Not sure if you'll know this, but would you happen to know how loud it is with your ear next to it? I have two 12cm fans that in order to hear 'em I need to get a hair cut.

I have one and I can't hear it unless I put my ear right next to it.
It's quieter than almost any fan you'll find on the market.
Think Nexus 120mm fan running undervolted and enclosed in a cage.

It's the quiestest power supply you'll ever find short of going fanless.

I put my ear up right next to my 430watt version and couldn't hear it at all over my retail A64 fan that was running at the time.

i dont know if this matters, but my seasonic supersilencer is soo quiet, i can put my ear on the back, where the fan comes out, and still cant hear it. and i have quiet 120mm fans. i think these psu's are pretty similar.

Trust me it will be more then quiet enough for you, unless you have superman hearing.

silentpceviews says the s12 is the quietest power supply they've reviewed...

PS. the 330,380, 430 models are quieter than the 500 and 600 watt models.
