I bought the Seasonic Super Tornado 300W unit shortly after both its release and its raving review at SPCR. About six months into its use, I began to get the non-starting fan whine.
I learned that I could remedy the problem and start the fan by jamming my exhaust fans and running Prime 95 for a few minutes after entering Windows. Since I never turned off my computer anyway, I didn't plan to bother with an RMA until Seasonic resolved all the issues. A little more than a year after my purchase (and well within my warranty), I RMA'd the PSU and Seasonic decided to send me a brand new Rev. A3 PSU.
All they needed to do (AFAIK) was change some circuitry in my original unit. Anyway, I am damn pleased with the quality of service they've offered, and will be equiping all my future systems with Seasonic PSUs until the company proves itself incompetent. (Which I hardly expect)
I just wanted to share that with all of you =)
