as long as you were in the 200-500 watt you'd be pretty good at about 91-92% efficiency. That's pretty good considering the titanium is around 94%. It still offers the 10 year warranty.
I was wondering is this good power supply for a bit more then 100 bucks? I don't see anything wrong with it, my old PS just went out and I'm going to use this for my old computer and the titanium 850 for my new build. I think this PS is a pretty good deal. Thoughts? I find it funny in the review the guy says if money's no object than getting the titanium would still be the way to go, but for a backup kick around machine, this should be a decent PS for the money right?
I don't see how you can go wrong for 120 bucks. I paid 75 bucks a corsair CX 600 only lasted about 4 years...... Pretty much died soon after the warrenty expired. And I ran this PS on APC UPS it's whole life, and only with maybe 1/3 of the load usage for about 6 hours a day. I am kinda disappointed with corsair.
I've had seasonic before and never had a problem with any PS dieing on me (name brand ones) at least. Maybe just got unlucky with corsair.
